Return of the Energy benders Ch. 6Chapter 6 - Knowing the Test
Silence combed through the harsh tundra of the arctic, white screamed every where you looked. But water fought against the sound and calmed the breeze as soft waves rocked the silence.
A man walked silently, his musk ox hound seemed to bound behind him in happy spirits. "Calm down Vandet, you'll crack the ice." the voice sounded in a soft chuckled before the animal listened to his words. A soft whine left its muzzle before it nudged the man every so often.
Listrum pushed the large calf pup to the side with a soft laugh, "No is not the time for play." he chuckled before Vandet did it more wagging his tail. they sound arrived in the northern village, soft hums of voices and laughter from the children and adults alike.
Yanak moved and dodged as best she could as she sparred for the day, it had been three days since the start of the trials. So far she had success but today seemed to be an off day. "Straighten up, but keep loose!" Mairro
Return of the Energy benders Ch. 5Chapter 5 - Calm before the storm
It had been two days since the arrests, the elders sat in the hall discussing what the course of action toward the rebel benders should be. This was truly troubling, such a decision against the people of this magnitude had never had to be made, but times were uncertain now and a choice had to be made.
Yanak took a deep breath before washing her face, Daaeh stood next to her cleaning up a bit. "Today's the day love." Naiho said having just walked into the bathroom, kissing the eldest twin on the head softly. "You'll do great, don't fret over it too much, it's not good for your health." she said softly, putting Yanaks long hair in a double wrapped ponytail.
Yanak was quitenervous, this was something she and her sister dreamed of, worked and strived for. Their grandfather made it to the academy when he was their age, and she wanted to live up to or pass those expectations. "Ok mama." Yanak finally said as her mother finished. "Go eat now." Naiho sai

Ganten looked back as the gate was closed, the rebels remaining on the back of the saddles. Many who lived in the surge empire looks as the rebels were brought in, having know clue as to why.
"Elders they have returned." a messenger said arriving in the glass hall before the older men. They nodded before rising to meet the surge guards at the front of the academy doors. Ganten stopped Utar a few feet from the door, untying Tek off the saddle and having him stand before the arriving elders.
The older men looked the sixteen in total rebels an even number of men and women who had become the very t

Dust, air, dirt. This was the scene, bright light flashed in the on going cloud. Peace was ending, but why, what drove it to flee its perch?
Ganten regained him self quickly, charging and weaving through air and earth now. He could see that the rebels had very little experience in the forbidden bending. Screams of women were heard as horrendous scene hissed in the breeze.
Ganten saw no other course but to arrest the traitors. He reached them with in seconds using his secret ability only the elders and other academy teachers knew of.
The ability to manipulate energy and matter, force teleporting from one place to another in short bursts. This was a very deadly skill, making hitting the opponent next to impossible but only if you timed it right could you deliver a blow.
The rebels were taken back by this technique, finding it harder to counter the onslaught of forceful energy strikes at them. "Tek!" a woman screamed
